Islandbridge Boat House
Situated on the River Liffey two miles upstream of the city centre campus, the Boat House sits in the picturesque setting of the War Memorial Park and has facilitated Trinity Ladies and Men's Boat Clubs for over 150 years.
How to get to the Boathouse
Cycling or Driving
From College Green, head north along Westmorland Street and turn left down Aston Quay. Continue down along the Quays until you come to Victoria Quay past the Guinness Brewery. Turn left past Heuston Station, head past Heuston South Quarter and Eir Headquarters along St. Johns Road and right up the South Circular Road towards Clancy Barracks. Take a left into the Irish National War Memorial Park and follow the road to the boathouse.
Dublin Bus
Take the 69 from Aston Quay past Heuston Station as far as the Colbert Road, at the entrance to the Irish National War Memorial Park.
Take the 66, 66a, 66b or 67 from Westmorland Street as far as Chapelizod Rd, Islandbridge Gate, Stop 2191. Walk back and cross over the bridge following signs for the Irish National War Memorial Park.
