Course Structure
The MPhil in Race, Ethnicity, and Conflict is a one-year, full-time programme designed to provide students with the advanced theoretical and research skills necessary to critically examine issues of race, ethnicity, and conflict in a global context.
Students must accumulate a total of 90 ECTS to complete the programme. The course structure includes:
Taught Modules (60 ECTS)
- Three mandatory core modules, each worth 10 ECTS.
- Six elective modules, each worth 5 ECTS, from a selection of available options.
Dissertation (30 ECTS)
- Students complete an independent research project, culminating in a dissertation of up to 20,000 words, which should be submitted at the end of August.
