MSc in Comparative Social Change
An innovative new programme developed by the Department of Sociology at Trinity College and the School of Sociology at University College Dublin (UCD) which critically explores the social, cultural and economic forces that drive social change today.
MPhil in Race, Ethnicity and Conflict
Combines a focus on race-critical theory, population movement, conflict and resistance. Specifically, we critically examine the techniques used by states and international agencies to manage peoples and conflict, their social and cultural impact and the responses they elicit.
PhD Programme
The Department of Sociology has an impressive record of attracting excellent students from all over the world to our PhD programme which is designed to produce rigorously trained, widely-read and well-rounded sociologists, able to take their place in the forefront of the profession.
