Professor James Wickham was awarded a grant of over €100k by the Irish Research Council under its Collaborative Research Projects 2012/2013 scheme. The full title of the project is ‘Careers, Conjunctures and Consequences: The implications of Polish migration to Ireland for contemporary Irish emigration’. The project starts on 1 October 2012 and will run for one year. Full-time postdoctoral research fellows on the project are Dr Alicja Bobek and Dr Sally Daly.
James Wickham is Professor of Sociology and Dean of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
