Trinity College, founded in 1592, is recognised internationally as Ireland's premier university, and is currently ranked 81st in the QS World University Rankings 2023. It is a cosmopolitan and exciting place to study and meet new friends. We have around 16,500 students including 2,300 from over 90 different countries. The campus is located in the heart of Dublin, a vibrant city which was recently ranked in the top student cities globally.
We promote research-led teaching and have a strong international focus. Every year we welcome a growing number of international and exchange students, and one third of our own students study abroad during their degree programme. We are strongly committed to the professionalization of third-level teaching, and several staff members have won Provost's Teaching Awards in recognition of teaching excellence.
