Career Talk - Linguistics at Google

Join us for a talk by Trinity alumnus Dr Alessio Frenda, Senior Analytical Linguist in Google, based in Los Angeles. 

Dr Frenda graduated from TCD in 2011 with a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the Centre for Language and Communication Studies. He completed his M.Phil. in Linguistics in 2005. His research at Trinity focused on language contact and corpus linguistics, with special attention to linguistic change in Irish.

Alessio has been working for Google for the last decade, relocating to California five years ago. He will share his own career journey and describe opportunities available at Google for graduates with a background in Linguistics.
