Honghui (Rita) Zhu
Honghui (Rita) Zhu holds a master's degree in Advanced Studies of Applied Linguistics from KU Leuven, Belgium. Based in the School of Linguistic, Speech and Communication Sciences at Trinity College Dublin, she teaches English and Chinese as a second language. She has worked as a coordinator in various capacities, including helping to deliver the BAQONDE project’s international summer school activities and supporting staff in the School’s Department of Clinical Speech and Language Studies. She is currently working on her PhD project on multilingualism and language policy. She speaks Wu Chinese as her first language and is an active indigenous language supporter. When she is not working, she enjoys running, salsa dancing, and learning Dutch.
