Mark McCaffrey is a Deaf Interpreter since October 2021, affiliated with the Centre for Deaf Studies at Trinity College Dublin (TCD). With over two decades of experience as a Special Needs Assistant (SNA), Mark has been dedicated to supporting the Deaf community. His passion for Irish Sign Language (ISL) and Deaf culture drives his commitment to bridging communication gaps. Mark’s journey through equality studies and exploration of Deafhood have shaped his perspective and identity.
