Paul Mulville Bio
As an elected Social Democrats Councillor, I aim to uphold the tradition of progressive reforming University representation in the Seanad, and will caucus with the party, strengthening our Parliamentary team.
I have served as a Fingal County Councillor for ten years while gaining legislative insight as an Oireachtas assistant to Róisín Shortall.
However, my political journey began at Trinity College in 2001 while studying German and Nua-Ghaeilge.
Campus campaigns sparked my activism, from Shell to Sea to Palestinian solidarity and opposition to US military use of Shannon Airport.
If elected, I will champion social and economic justice through legislative oversight of key issues:
- Tackling the student housing crisis and advocating for the Right to Housing.
- Addressing the Climate and Biodiversity Emergency.
- Promoting Nua-athbheochán na Gaeilge.
- Supporting international peace and justice.
- Amplifying the voice of Irish citizens abroad.
With your No. 1 vote, we can build a fairer, more just Ireland.
