In the annual tradition of Trinity Monday, the Provost stood at Public Theatre in Front Square to announce the names of the newly elected Fellows and Scholars.
The School is incredibly proud to announce that Professor Caroline Brophy, Professor Andrew Butterfield and Professor Meriel Huggard were elected as Fellows this year.
The School wishes to congratulate Computer Science students Justin Ikechukwu Cunningham and Adam Watters for their outstanding achievement on being elected as Scholars.
Speaking at the event this morning Provost Dr Linda Doyle said:
"I warmly congratulate all those who have been elected to Fellowship and Scholarship today. It really is a remarkable academic achievement, and forms part of a long and special tradition at Trinity College Dublin.
I also want to congratulate every single person who sat the Schols exams this year. Maith sibh go léir.”
