Digital services company TEKenable has announced a new research partnership with the School of Computer Science and Statistics (SCSS) at Trinity College Dublin, supported by Enterprise Ireland. The collaboration aims to advance the development of responsible AI solutions that benefit both businesses and individuals.

The partnership will enable researchers from TEKenable and SCSS to collaborate on AI projects across various disciplines. A team led by TEKenable’s Jane Slevin, (also a PhD candidate at SCSS) along with six researchers, will focus on practical applications of AI to improve business operations. These efforts will explore AI's potential in areas such as internal processes, financial management, and customer interactions.

“We are excited to enter this partnership with trinity and tap into the University's renowned academic expertise” said Nick Connors, Group CEO at TEKenable. “It will allow us to further strengthen our knowledge and capabilities.”

Prof. Anthony Ventresque, Director of the Complex Software Lab at TCD’s School of Computer Science and Statistics, highlighted the value of the collaboration: “By partnering with TEKenable, we can apply academic insights to real-world challenges, creating a powerful synergy between theory and practice”.

TEKenable, recently awarded Microsoft’s ‘AI Partner of the Year,’ also participates in the EU’s Digital4Sustainability initiative, a project aimed at advancing skills for digital and green transitions. Founded in 2002, the company employs over 240 people and continues to expand its expertise in AI and digital transformation.

This partnership underscores a shared commitment to leveraging AI to improve business practices while maintaining a focus on responsibility and sustainability.
