We are extremely proud to have Dr Viet Pham included in this list. This is a well deserved reward for his research output and his significant and broad influence in his fields of research (Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science).
A Highly Cited Researcher is an individual who has demonstrated significant and broad influence in their field(s) of research.
This small fraction of the researcher population contributes disproportionately to extending the frontiers of knowledge and contributing to innovations that make the world healthier, more sustainable and drive societal impact.
The rigorous evaluation and selection process draws on data from the Web of Science Core Collection™ citation index, together with qualitative analysis performed by experts at the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI)™ at Clarivate. A new list is determined by the ISI team each year.
Each researcher selected has authored multiple Highly Cited Papers™ which rank in the top 1% by citations for their field(s) and publication year in the Web of Science Core Collection over the past decade.
Dr Viet Pham, Assistant Professor, School of Computer Science and Statistics has been awarded this honour. Three other researchers from Trinity are included in the list.
Speaking about this announcement Dr. Pham said: "I am very pleased to receive this prestigious recognition from Clarivate for my research contributions and impacts. This acknowledgement will continually inspire me to advance research in the fields of wireless AI and future networks, as well as to contribute to the College and the wider research community."
Professor Sinead Ryan, Dean of Research at Trinity, said:
“This list highlights some of the most impactful work carried out by researchers across a broad range of areas. It is very encouraging to see some of Trinity’s outstanding researchers included once again this year, emphasising the importance of their work in tackling some of society’s greatest challenges.”
