Welcome to the School of Computer Science and Statistics' Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) pages. In these pages you will find information about the School and its effort to improve equality, diversity and inclusion in the School through analysis and actions. The aim is to ensure the School has the best learning and working environment and opportunities for all. As part of these goals the School has been a participant in the Athena SWAN process since 2019 and holds an Athena SWAN bronze award since 2021.

There is also an online anonymous suggestion box. Use it to draw our attention to issues of EDI in SCSS and to make suggestions for how the school might address EDI. These may feed into the policy deliberations of the EDI committee, and may eventually be reflected in future school policies. Anything more urgent should go through other SCSS channels.
