Pobal na Gaeilge: this activity is for everyone who for any reason is interested in the Irish language and interested in exploring what modern speech technology can contribute.
We are particularly interested in people who might be willing to contribute to our research by doing a short (15 minute) recording in Irish (all dialects, all levels, all age-groups welcome)
- ABAIR ABAIR is a project of the Phonetics and Speech Laboratory at the School of Linguistic, Speech and Communication Sciences, Trinity College Dublin. We’ve been developing synthetic voices for Irish since 2008.
- Míle Glór/A Thousand Voices We are working on speech recogition for Irish (think for example of Alexa). To achieve this we need as many recordings as possible...Míle Glór!
