Tips for writing a grant application

Obtaining research funding is central to the research process and grant writing is an important part of any researcher’s professional growth strategy. At a time when research budgets are being cut and application success rates are falling, the ability to construct a well presented, clear, articulate proposal that respects the requirements of the funding agency is becoming more important than ever.

The Trinity Research Development Office (RDO) will provide a short training session on what to consider when writing a grant application and tips to improve your application. We will provide an outline of key elements of successful research grants.
