I'm conducting research on novel oxide materials, with focus on their optical and electrical properties. In particular I'm working on so called transparent conducting oxides (TCOs), which are an important material class in devices such as Displays, LEDs or thin film solar cells. The research spans topics such as low cost growth techniques (spray pyroloysis), high qualiy growth techniques (MBE) and full material characterisation (XRD, XPS, Resistivity, Hall mobility, Ellipsometry, Haze, Transmission) Current research projects focus on modification of commonly used industrial TCOs (ZnO:Al, SnO2:F) in order to tune their optical properties, and fundamental studies on p-type TCOs, which potentially allow for fully transparent electronic devices.Recognition
