Prof Jude Lal Fernando spoke at a seminar organized by the Former Irish Parliamentarians at Leinster House on 'The Challenges and Opportunities of a Multicultural Society.' The event took place on 12 April 2024. In his talk Prof Fernando looked at the importance of intercultural dialogue in enabling multicultural societies to advance their cultural and social capital, as well as the role of education in moving beyond a textbook understanding of other cultures and religions.
