Biography

Dr Daragh Keogh is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland, an Assistant Professor on the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology in the School of Psychology, Trinity College Dublin, and a certified Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) therapist and supervisor. He has experience working with looked-after children and adolescents residing in fostering and residential care, as well as experience working with family members, carers and the professionals working with those young persons. His research interests are in the area of psychotherapy and psychological intervention; specifically emotion-focused therapy, interventions with parents and carers of young persons, the treatment of affective disorders, trauma, transdiagnostic interventions, psychotherapy change processes, and the training of clinicians in psychotherapeutic interventions.
