Shane Collins

Director of the Provost's Office

Shane is the Director of the Provost’s Office. He is responsible for overseeing the running of the office, and developing policy and strategy in partnership with the Trinity community. He also liaises with external stakeholders on behalf of the Provost. He holds a degree in Education Studies and a master’s degree in Politics and Public Policy from Trinity.

Laetitia Deering

Administrative Officer (PA) to the Provost

Laetitia is the Administrative Officer (PA) to the Provost providing high-level administrative support. Laetitia’s principal responsibility is to oversee management of the Provost’s diary, meetings and travel arrangements, as well as manage the Provost’s email account. Laetitia acts as the primary interface between the Provost and the Trinity College Dublin community.

Executive Officer

As Executive Officer, Ciara's principal responsibilities are to manage the emails sent to the office, prepare meeting papers, diary management, invitations and all postal correspondence received. She acts as the primary interface between the office of the Provost and the Trinity College Dublin community.

Shumane Cleary

Projects and Enablement Manager

Shumane is the Projects and Enablement Manager in the Office of the Provost. She manages strategic change projects in collaboration with colleagues and drives change management across Trinity. She is the central point of contact for initiatives and information in the Office of the Provost. Shumane has worked previously in the Office of the Vice-Provost/Chief Academic Officer and the Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences in roles related to planning and finance.

Sianna Fallon

Digital Content Officer

Sianna is Digital Content Officer in the Office of the Provost. She is responsible for the production of digital content published across the Provost’s communication channels. Sianna holds an MA in Digital Media from the University of Galway and worked in the charity sector before joining the Provost’s team.

Caroline Foley

Steward to the Provost's House

Caroline’s responsibilities include receiving visitors to the Provost’s House, assisting the team with functions and Commencements, room bookings, and overseeing maintenance and housekeeping in the Provost’s House.

Andrew O'Connell

Programme Director

Reporting directly to the Provost, Andrew is responsible for strategic planning for the Provost. Previously he worked as Communications and Public Engagement Manager at CONNECT, the world leading Science Foundation Ireland research centre for communications networks. He holds a PhD in electrochemistry and a BSc in chemistry from University College Cork.

Claire Tracey

Protocol and Events Lead

Claire is the Protocol and Events Lead. Her responsibilities include the coordination of all events hosted by the Provost. She also coordinates the Provost’s participation in official Trinity events, such as Commencements Ceremonies and events hosted by the Provost during Trinity Week. Claire assists in the organisation of key strategic College events, including State and official visits by visiting Heads of State and Government.

Katie Elliott
