The Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities (TCPID) has launched a new scholarship in memory of their beloved student, Timothy Dimka.
Professors, classmates, and members of Timothy's family joined together in TCPID this week to mark the launch of the scholarship and to remember Timothy, whose beaming personality touched the lives of everyone he met in Trinity, during his time here.
A beautiful portrait of Timothy was on display at the launch, painted by Dr John Kubiak, TCPID.

The Timothy Dimka Scholarship, sponsored by Smurfit Kappa, will be an annual scholarship of €7,000 over two years for the successful student.
The event also marked the 20 year anniversary of another much-loved TCPID student, Margaret McLoughlin. The McLoughlin family, who joined the Dimka family at this special event, set up the TCPID Art Education Space in 2017 and the Margaret McLoughlin TCPID scholarship in 2020.
