Trinity sprang to life this week as it welcomed almost 4,000 first-year students.

The sun was shining on the annual Freshers’ Fair which was in full swing on Front Square, which gives incoming students the opportunity to sign-up to Trinity’s many clubs and societies. Linda took to the cobbles to meet some of the students who run the clubs and societies, and to greet their new members!

Linda also gave her annual welcome address in a packed Edmund Burke theatre. She thanked the students for choosing Trinity saying:

“We learn so much from you. This university is forever changing – and you are the next generation of people who are here now to learn, to do great things, and to challenge us and make your mark on the map that is Trinity.’
