This year’s volume explores a wide array of philosophical topics such as pain, privacy, emotivism, counterfactuals, and the nature of infinity. TSPR continues to provide a valuable platform for Trinity’s philosophy students, giving them the opportunity to present their critical thinking and academic work to a broader audience.

A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Iris Murdoch Prize for the best essay in this year’s volume. The prize was awarded to Giorgia Carli for her essay, which explores the subjective nature of experiences such as pain. Her work was recognised for its argumentation and insightful reflection on how individual experiences shape our understanding of the world.

The launch event, which was open to all with an interest in philosophy, included an introduction by Dr Farbod Akhlaghi and offered attendees a chance to engage with the contributors and editors behind the publication.

Congratulations to the TSPR team for their hard work and dedication: Fiona Lüling, Editor-in-Chief; Lewis Sharp and Ryszard Madejczyk, Editors; Georgina Dowling, Treasurer; Giulia Villa, Events Manager; Rowena Breen, Production Manager; and Alice Gogarty, Social Media Manager. Their efforts made Volume III possible, and this celebration was a reflection of their commitment to the publication’s continued success.
