Julian’s research interests are at the intersection of philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and philosophy of psychology. He is interested in questions about our understanding and experience of time, and about the nature and role of memory. He is also interested in causation and causal cognition and reasoning, especially mental causation and causation in the social world.

He aims to pursue his research in an open-minded and empirically informed way, incorporating insights and problems from cognitive science, developmental psychology, and the social sciences.

Welcome to the team Julian!
