Biography

I completed my PhD at UCL in 2019, under the supervision of M. G. F. Martin and Rory Madden. Prior to joining Trinity, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Philosophical Psychological at the University of Antwerp with Bence Nanay; before that, I was a visiting researcher at the Humboldt University in Berlin, hosted by Tobias Rosefeldt.

Research Expertise

My research interests are at the intersection of philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and philosophy of psychology. I am interested especially in questions about our understanding and experience of time, and about the nature and role of memory. I am also interested our understanding of causation, especially mental causation and causation in the social world. I aim to pursue his research in an open-minded and empirically informed way, incorporating insights and problems from cognitive science, developmental psychology, and the social sciences. I also have historical interests in early modern philosophy, Kant, and 20th century analytic philosophy.
