Assistant Professor in Intellectual Disability, his current research focus includes investigating the descriptive epidemiology of cancer in people with intellectual disability & cancer care inequalities that this population face in Ireland.
Dr. Mary Mooney
Head of the General Nursing Discipline
Mary is best known for her clinical expertise and research background in the field of cardiology. She is well known nationally and internationally and collaborates with eminent researchers in the field of nursing and cardiology across the globe.
Ms. Maryanne Murphy
Head of Discipline, Children's Nursing
Ms. Murphy has been teaching in the School of Nursing and Midwifery since 2006. She is a member of the Children’s Nursing Discipline. She has significant teaching experience in both undergraduate and postgraduate children’s nursing programmes.
Dr. Frances O'Brien
Head of the General Nursing Discipline
Frances teaches and supervises students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Her research expertise is in critical care nursing, mixed methods research, intervention studies and randomised controlled trials.
Mr. Frank O'Rourke
School Manager, School of Nursing & Midwifery
Frank leads the support team in the School. His responsibilities include strategic, financial and HR management. He advises the Head of School and School Executive on all key strategic and governance decisions.
