***Important Note*** Students who wish to do a P.Grad.Dip in one year should apply for the MSc part-time, two year course and exit at the end of year one.

When applying for this course, you will need to demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development since your initial registration as a nurse with the NMBI. You should provide a detailed curriculum vitae (CV) which includes all of your continuing professional development listed in chronological order, and include certificates as evidence where appropriate.

Where you do not meet the criteria for entry to the P. Grad.Dip/MSc programme as listed on this website, you may be offered a place on the P.Grad.Cert. which will mean that you will do the MSc over three years, part-time [Cert/Diploma/MSc]. This decision will be made on an individual basis to support students learning needs. 

Course Content

Course Assessments
Each module will be assessed by the successful completion of an academic assignment. The assessment of clinical competence will focus on the acquisition of specialist competencies and the clinical assessments will be carried out throughout the clinical placements.
