Nursing is now Trinity College’s top-ranked subject in the world.
The School of Nursing & Midwifery has established a strong reputation within Ireland and around the world for delivering high-quality nursing and midwifery education and meaningful research impact.

The QS 2025 Subject Rankings are compiled by higher education analyst QS Quacquarelli Symonds from a review of 1,700 universities across 55 disciplines.
Universities are scored according to academic reputation, employer reputation, research impact (citations) and cross-border research collaborations.
Trinity College Dublin is Ireland’s leading university and is ranked 87th in the world in the 2025 QS World University Ranking across all indicators.
