New evidence supports the case for universal healthcare
New research by Trinity College Dublin healthcare experts has suggested that the full introduction of the Sláintecare model of universal healthcare would fundamentally change the funding of healthcare in Ireland with the share of household out of pocket payments falling from 15.4% currently to 8.5% in 2027.
