Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and early defibrillation, with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), can more than double a person’s chance of survival.

The provision of automated external defibrillators (AED’s) in workplaces to assist in the prevention of sudden cardiac death is increasingly common today. Using an AED defibrillator is one of the vital links in the “chain of survival”.

This course will give the learner the skills and ability to provide CPR and use an AED at the earliest stages of Cardiac Arrest. Course Content:

• Introduction
• Patient assessment
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Automated external defibrillator
• Recovery position
• Airway obstruction
