Trinity joins EIT Urban Mobility to create liveable urban spaces
Trinity College Dublin and Tangent, Trinity’s Ideas Workspace have announced membership of Urban Mobility (UM), an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Trinity's membership of EIT UM will be officially launched at an event in Tangent, Trinity's Ideas Workspace today, Wednesday 22nd March from 12pm during Green Week.

Hacking the brain’s accelerator: novel therapies for epilepsy?
On Thursday 23rd March, Professor Mark Cunningham, Ellen Mayston Bates Professor of Neurophysiology of Epilepsy and the Head of the Discipline of Physiology at Trinity College Dublin, will deliver his inaugural lecture entitled “Hacking the brain’s accelerator: novel therapies for epilepsy?”. The lecture will take place in the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute at 6pm, and you can register for it here. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Ryan McGowan wins prestigious Hamilton Prize
Ryan, a final year student in the School of Mathematics, has won the prestigious undergraduate Hamilton Prize as the top student in his programme at Trinity. He is one of nine winners from across the universities in Ireland to have received the award from the Royal Irish Academy (RIA).
