Change the way you think!
The Innovation Academy at Trinity College has launched a new initiative ‘Executive Breakout’ for leaders and innovators who want to drive creativity and innovation within their organisations.
The programme was recently announced at a business breakfast with Dell Service’s Chief Innovation Officer and Executive Strategist, Jim Stikeleather, delivering an inspiring keynote address ‘People – not products drive innovation’ on how businesses need to move from controlled to engaged environments and how ‘just in time’ programmes like ‘Executive Breakout’ are a matter of urgency for organisations to survive.
Established in response to strong demand, the programme is a six-day action-learning programme underpinned by three pillars; Creative Thinking, Disruptive Innovation and High Performance Leadership. Central to the programme’s philosophy is the significant impact of multidisciplinary teamwork and the cross pollination of ideas. Attendees will work in high performance multidisciplinary teams on factual business challenges, transforming them into highly creative innovators, critical in an increasingly competitive and rapidly developing marketplace.
“Creativity is highly effective in the incubation of fresh and divergent ideas, and as such the nurturing and development of participants’ creative and lateral thinking skills will be at the epicentre of this programme”, explained Dr Barry McMahon, Executive Breakout Programme Director. “This promises to be an extremely potent and dynamic action learning programme, enabling attendees to adopt novel ideation processes to accelerate new innovations. Whether working in a multinational, a start-up or a public sector organisation this programme will rewire your brain to think differently.”
The programme commences in January 2015 and is now open for registration.
