Treasurer’s Office Information Day & Research Workshops – 27 April

College’s first Treasurer’s Office Information Day and Research Workshop presentations took place on Friday 27 April. The programme was of particular interest to staff who engage in research or consultancy activities or in any financial transactions that are processed by the Treasurer’s Office, according to Information Day Co-ordinators Michael Kiely and Ben Hartnett of the Treasurer’s Office.
Taking place in the O’Reilly Institute Foyer and Research Conference Rooms in the Hamilton Building between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm, the Information Day’s activities included:
Research Workshops at 10.00am and 2.30pm consisting of a 10 minute presentation on topics such as: Introduction to Research, Research, Taxation, Accounts Payable, Procurement and Payroll.
General Workshops, designed to provide a brief summary of the major financial administrative aspects of the business that is dealt with by the Treasurer’s Office, will cover the areas of Accounts Payable, Re-imbursements/Receipts, Payroll Functions, P. Card, Coding, Procurement, Accounts Receivable and Invoice v Payroll (Taxation).
Information Stands were attended by Treasurer’s Office representatives who assisted staff members with any queries they may have had in relation to Accounts Payable, Research, Payroll/ Fees, Procurement / Tax, General Ledger and Accounts Receivable.
