Newly Elected Senators –  Ivana Bacik, David Norris and Lynn Ruane

Trinity’s Law Professor, Ivana Bacik and current Student’s Union President,  Lynn Ruane were both elected last night filling the final two seats of the constituency of the University of Dublin.  Ivana Bacik was elected on the thirteenth count with 4144 votes, followed soon after with the election of Lynn Ruane  on the fifteenth count with  3343 votes.  All three seats have now been filled in the constituency of the University of Dublin. Lynn Ruane who has been elected for the first time joins long standing Senators  Bacik and Norris.  Speaking on her election, Lynn  thanked her supporters “from the graduates of the College to the people in Tallaght.”
