Election to the New Seanad in the Constituency of the University of Dublin

The result of the election to the Seanad in the three-seat constituency of the University of Dublin is the following:

David Norris: 5623 votes, 1st count.

Ivana Bacik: 3940 votes, 10th count

Seán Barrett: 3065 votes, 18th count

The total valid poll was 15,557 and the quota was  3,890 votes.

A total of 19 candidates stood for election to the Seanad in the University of Dublin constituency. The electorate comprises 53,583 people.
