Dept of Botany strengthens links with National Botanic Gardens

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Botany Department, Trinity College and the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin was signed in Trinity on Friday 14th October.

TCD’s Department of Botany and the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin have had a long history of collaboration with close connections for more than 200 years. This has included the exchange of plant materials and extensive staff links. The aim of the MOU is to strengthen co-operation between the two institutions, particularly in the areas of botanical research and the education and training of students.
