The students - eight of whom are postgraduates and two undergraduates - will begin their studies at Trinity as soon as possible. All fees have been waived for these students.

Trinity College Dublin has today welcomed the safe arrival to Dublin of ten students and two researchers from Gaza.

Dr Emma Stokes, Vice President for Global Engagement at Trinity, said: “ We wish to acknowledge the support of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Justice, the HSE, the Gaza Scholarship Initiative and the donors to the Trinity Sanctuary Fund, all of whom helped us to arrive at this point.

“We are delighted to welcome our new students and wish them every success.”

Trinity has been a University of Sanctuary since 2021. More information can be found here and here.
