UPDATE: College closure – Friday 24 January, Storm Éowyn

Trinity will remain closed for the rest of today, Friday 24 January. This is in light of further advice from the RSA and continued public transport closures. It is planned that the university will reopen as normal tomorrow, Saturday 25 January 2025, subject to further advice.

The following email has been issued to all staff and students in light of the upcoming Status Red Wind Warning:
Dear staff and students
Met Éireann has confirmed the Status Red Wind Warning is in place tomorrow, Friday 24 January.
As a result of this extreme weather warning, the University will be closed on Friday until at least 14.00. This means that all lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, Libraries, Sports Centre, student services and visitor attractions will remain closed until that time.
Staff should work remotely where possible.
Please do not attempt to travel during the Status Red warning.

The University will continue to monitor the Met Éireann weather warning and will provide further updates should circumstances change.
