Nature's Pharmacy NatPro Awards at SciFest 2022

Welcome

Congratulations to the winners of the Nature's Pharmacy NatPro award at this year's SciFest@College STEM fair, held in TUS Midlands Athlone on 6th April, TUS Midlands Thurles on 28th April & TU Dublin Blanchardstown on 4th May.

The first of the 16 regional SciFest@College STEM fairs was held in person on 6th April in the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest in Athlone. NatPro are delighted to be a bronze sponsor of the Scifest programme 2021-22. There was a great buzz in the hall from early morning as the students set up their projects. Due to COVID it had been three years since a live face to face SciFest@College STEM fair had taken place.

The Nature’s Pharmacy NatPro award was bestowed to the SciFest projects that best exhibited:

  • Using scientific thought and imagination to find a positive and innovative solution to a challenge or an unanswered question related to, but not limited to, subjects of agricultural science, physics, biology, chemistry and scientific literacy in relation to Irish boglands or plants or medicinal cures.
  • Using creativity and technical skills to form experimentation or research data to answer a clear hypothesis or research question.
  • A clear understanding of the project undertaken.
