Medicine Hunting in the Comeragh Uplands

    • NatPro is involved in a module to engage with a group of farmers in the Comeragh mountains to contribute with knowledge transfer from information from Dúchas to mountain walk to demonstrate the protocol for collecting plants. The group are undertaking a EU Innovation partnership project with Teagasc. The farmers will collect species and send them to NatPro for analysis.  

      The Comeragh Uplands Communities project is funded by The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) through the European Innovation Partnerships initiative (EIP) under the Rural Development programme 2014 – 2020.
