Medieval Dublin Symposium

Trinity has played host since 2000 to the annual free public symposia organized by the Friends of Medieval Dublin and its chairman Professor Seán Duffy. The purpose of the symposia is to make the latest archaeological and historical research on the medieval city and county of Dublin accessible to a wide audience of specialists and members of the general public. Fifteen volumes in the Medieval Dublin series have appeared to date, published by Four Courts Press.
