Welcome to the Discipline of Surgery

The Trinity College Dublin Discipline of Surgery is located in St James's Hospital and Tallaght University Hospital. The medical school at Trinity College Dublin has existed since the 17th century. In the 1970's St James's was developed as the principal teaching hospital of the medical school. Today St James's and Tallaght University Hospital are the principal teaching hospitals of Trinity College Medical School.
