Ms. Mary O'Connor

Research Assistant, Occupational Therapy

Mary O’Connor is a Research Assistant in the Discipline of Occupational Therapy. She holds a BSc in Psychology and a MSc in Health Psychology. Prior to this role she was a Health Policy Analyst at Department of Health, working on the improvement of health service access in Ireland. She has also worked as a Research Assistant in University of Limerick on homeless adults’ recovery experiences in Housing First and traditional services across Europe. She is currently working on a clinical trial of a self-management intervention to support women with breast cancer to return to work, with Professor Deirdre Connolly. She was previously the Member Representative of Ireland for the European Federation of Psychology Students Association and is currently a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
