Biography

Patrick Kearns, B.Biomed.Sci (Hons.) MPH (Epidemiology and Biostatistics). Patrick Kearns holds an honours degree in Biomedical Science with a focus in Cellular Immunology and Disease Signalling (NUI). In 2024, he was awarded a Master of Public Health with Epidemiology and Biostatistics specialisation from University College Cork, becoming Ireland's youngest graduate in the field of Epidemiology. Patrick's work with UCC examined intra-population differences in Health-Related Quality of Life reporting and the factors which contribute to health-status perception(s). Having spent time working in the education sector, Patrick is now engaged in collaborative research efforts between TCD School of Medicine, the National Centre for Pharmacoeconomics, and St James' Hospital.
