Our Research

The discipline's research interests incorporate applied and aetiological epidemiology, clinical trials, survivorship and laboratory-based studies exploring the pathogenesis of pregnancy-related disorders, cancer-associated thrombosis, and benign and malignant gynaecological disease. Funding sources include the Health Research Board, the Higher Education Authority, the Emer Casey Foundation, SOCK, the Royal City of Dublin Hospital Trust Fund, the Health Service Executive and the Friends of The Coombe.
