Postgraduate

The Discipline of Histopathology has a long tradition of training scientists and clinicians to PhD level and beyond.  At postgraduate level the discipline is accredited by the Royal College of Pathologists for training in Histopathology and for Part 1 and Part 2 of the Fellowship examination.

Currently there are 10 PhD and 1 MD students registered within the Department working across a diverse range of research projects.  The Department also contributes to a variety of post-graduate courses, including lecturing and laboratory research project supervision in the MSc in Molecular Medicine and the MSc in Translational Oncology.
