Comprehensive Management of Acute Stroke

Overview

This unique, blended-learning course is designed for doctors seeking to advance their understanding and skills in the acute management of stroke. Delivered by an esteemed faculty of practicing stroke physicians, neurologists, and radiologists, this program combines cutting-edge education with hands-on experience.

Course Highlights

Blended Learning:

Recorded lectures (60-90 minutes) released monthly from mid-March.

Interactive, two-hour evening workshops to review content and discuss case presentations.

Comprehensive Content: Topics include imaging, thrombolysis, thrombectomy, secondary prevention, stroke mimics, and more.

Interactive Workshop Day: In-person workshop in late June at the MISA Teaching Centre, St. James’s Hospital. Experience simulation exercises on acute stroke presentations, including large vessel occlusion and intracerebral haemorrhage.
