Welcome to the Engineering with Management Degree Programme

The Engineering with Management degree is one of two fully-accredited degrees offered by the School of Engineering.

A caption over a photo of students studying at long desks. The caption reads Engineering and Management lie at the heart of all engineering endeavoursThe programme is diverse and challenging, integrating technology and design with management and business.

We have a small group educational philosophy, with intake limited to a maximum of 20 students per year. This enables a stimulating and fulfilling learning experience for our students, with much emphasis on individual and team-based project work.

Students begin by learning the fundamentals of engineering and management, before moving into specialisations of their own choice in later years - enabled by providing a wide range of subject options which allow the student to tailor, within a structured framework of manufacturing engineering, their qualification to their own interest areas. Sample 'paths' would include Energy, Micro-manufacturing, Bio-medical, Design, Logistics and Renewables.

Graduates of the program find employment in many fields, both within and outside of engineering. Example sectors include renewable energy, automotive, electronics, food and beverages, logistics, project management, management consulting, biomedical. Additionally, a number of our recent graduates have started their own businesses.

Our mission is to provide a world-class education for the designers and implementers of tomorrows society, through access to world class teaching, facilities and research. We invite you to join us.
