Undergraduate Students
Degree Students, Undergraduate Certificate Students, & Foundation Students
With an account in good standing, these students may borrow:
- 10 General Lending items, for an initial loan period of four weeks
In addition, these students may consult up to a total of 10 items:
- 10 Consultation-Only items from Storage, or Inter-Library Loans
Plus an additional two Short Loan items.
Postgraduate Students
Higher Degree Postgraduate Students, Higher Diploma Students, Postgraduate Certificate Students, & Postgraduate Diploma Students
With an account in good standing, these students may borrow up to a total of 50 items:
- 50 General Lending items, for a initial loan period of 12 weeks
In addition, these students may consult up to a total of 50 items:
- 50 Consultation-Only items from Storage, or non-borrowable Inter-Library Loans
Plus an additional two Short Loan items.
Students with Special Borrowing Privileges
By default, undergraduate students registered with College's Disability Service will have the same borrowing entitlements as other undergraduates. However, as the request of the Disability Service, these students can be given Special Borrowing Privileges, which are the same borrowing entitlements as postgraduate students.
Staff
Trinity staff are by default entitled to borrow Library materials in accordance with the entitlements outlined below. The process for activating borrowing for new staff can take a day or two from receipt of the relevant staff records from HR.
**Please note that there is no longer a requirement for Trinity staff to sign a Library bond in order to borrow Library materials.**
