Additionally, we express our gratitude to everyone involved in organising the Trinity College Law Student Colloquium, an annual student-led event now in its 16th year. The Colloquium is Ireland’s leading student conference and welcomes applications from undergraduate and postgraduate students from Trinity and other universities as well as recent graduates in practice. Particular thanks are noted to LL.M student Cormac Donnelly who acted at Chair for the Colloquium in 2023/24.
Lastly, we congratulate LL.M (International and Comparative Law) students Juliette Lartigau, Emma Scalzo and Sara Vogd Sanchez on their placement as Runners-Up in Corn Adomnáin International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Competition 2024. The Corn Adomnáin is an IHL competition organised by the Irish Red Cross for those with an interest in this area of law. Eight teams from seven institutions took part in the event hosted by DCU. The top two teams ultimately competed in a final moot court styled on the International Criminal Court. Trinity’s team acted as prosecutors and came second in the day’s proceedings which took place in front of an esteemed judging panel. Thanks to the team for their hard work in representing the School of Law on such important, topical issues and well done on your success and to their mooting coach and LL.M graduate, Atalie Graham.
