The Law School welcomes new Assistant Professor in Private Law, Daniel Gilligan
The Law is is delighed to announce the appointment of Daniel Gilligan, Assistant Professor of Law. Daniel is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and the University of Oxford. His PhD research on the significance of constitutional rights for private law relationships was funded by the Irish Research Council and a Postgraduate Ussher Fellowship. His research has been published in the Dublin University Law Journal, Irish Jurist, Irish Supreme Court Review, Legal Studies, and the Modern Law Review. His research examines doctrinal and philosophical topics in private law, and at the constitutional-private law intersection.
Daniel recently was recently awarded the Eda Segarra Medal of Excellence at the Researcher of the Year (IRC Legacy Award)
